Green tea, white tea, yellow tea, red tea, black tea: all know the taste of tea. Surpassed only by water, tea is the most popular drink around the world. Without sugar, the tea tastes quite bitter and one of its most distinctive features is its astringent properties. Asia is certainly the first of all other continents as the agricultural productive capacity, even if Kenya is producing significant amounts. The English have always been famous lovers of the fruit of the camellia and speakers in the world the tea infuse: tea time! It’s time for tea, tea break. What a relax to spend a few minutes in friendly conversation with colleagues around a white majolica teapot Tiffani, queen of the finest service in pure white ceramic tea cups Tiffani; on a decorated porcelain tray Tiffani tasting delicious tea biscuits of the pastry aside, and even the sugar bowl is white majolica Tiffani. Joyful moments that break the routine of work and make life even more lovable.

When speaking of tea, it refers to the infusion of the leaves of the plant Camellia Sinensis (Chinese Camellia in Latin), a plant originating from China which is growing at 4000 m in the mountains of the Himalayas. There are many legends about how the history of tea started and most of all report that it began by chance in 2737 BC, while the emperor Sheh-Nung was taking a cup of hot water under a tree when some leaves fell into his water cup changing color and flavor: the emperor was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing, revitalizing taste. However, when the tea arrived in Europe in the thirteenth century, was already a consumed beverage in the East since ancient times. The first mention of tea arrived in Europe around 1285, when Marco Polo thought that the deposition of a Chinese minister was due to the increase of taxes on tea. In the seventeenth century, the tea became a beverage known and consumed in all Europe. Today, the tea is the most consumed beverage in the world besides water, of course. The teapot is made along the western classical tradition of tea consumption in the end models of the teapot are not that changed over time: the most appreciated teapots are those by classical design such as porcelain teapot Tiffani. The decorations of the porcelain and majolica teapots are handmade and completely different models of teapots meet all the requirements: ranging from the delicate white silver or gold -edged of the discrete model Scudery teapots, until very elaborate fruity or floral patterns that we find also on the saucer, on the sugar bowl on the tea cup on the milk jug of Tiffani.
